Umbra

Umbra's own storefront copy is brief but on-brand: "Umbra was born out of passion for original design and the desire to create products for every home. At Umbra, our team of international designers brings thought and creativity into everyday items." The company was founded in Toronto in 1978 by childhood friends Les Mandelbaum and Paul Rowan, and its striking pink-glass concept store still stands on John Street in Toronto today. Products are sold through more than 25,000 retailers in 120 countries.
